Our Mumbai office is not what people expect from a design house, bright, unusually well built, and the kind of place people actually want to come in to.
The culture
This is a startup inside a heritage house. People make decisions, learn on the job, and work hard. Few layers, and no one waits for permission to do good work.
The access
A small team means direct lines to master artisans and to senior leadership, not five people between you and whoever can actually answer your question.
We are part of the Chanakya group, and we weave and embroider our own textiles with craft pockets across India. Three lines, Bridal, Western and Indian, run out of one small Mumbai team. Every role here is real work, not a headcount target.

Our craft pockets include Kanjivaram silk, Ikat, Bandhani, Lehriya, Kantha and Bhuj. Ownership starts week one, with no shadowing period. We look for design graduates from NIFT Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai and Gandhinagar, NID Ahmedabad, and internationally from Central Saint Martins, Parsons, the Royal College of Art, FIT New York, Polimoda and Bunka Fashion College, as interns and as full time hires. We are also opening a new flagship retail store in Mumbai, with roles open in retail operations, visual merchandising, finance and marketing.

We make hand-embroidered bridal wear, sarees and celebrity dressing, and we weave and embroider our own textiles with craft pockets across India.
