This role manages the accounting team's day-to-day output - reporting, billing, payroll, budgeting - while owning internal controls, tax planning and the external audit relationship.

Job responsibilities
- Manage accounting staff across financial reporting, billing, collections, payroll and budgeting
- Establish and enforce internal controls and accounting guidelines
- Oversee business activity reports, financial forecasts and annual budgets
- Own tax planning and the annual corporate tax return
- Coordinate with outside auditors for the annual external audit
Profile
- 5-8 years in accounting or finance, with team management experience
- Solid grasp of accepted accounting principles and statutory compliance
- Experience coordinating external audits
- Comfortable recommending financial policy, not just executing it
