Job responsibilities
- Analyse garment costs across fabric, trims, embroidery and stitching
- Negotiate directly with machine/hand embroiderers, job workers and process vendors
- Coordinate with factory in-charge and master on fabric averages and construction
- Manage and recommend vendors and suppliers to optimise production
- Lead a small team and maintain the production time & action plan
Profile
- 4-8 years in merchandising, with real vendor negotiation experience
- Deep understanding of garment construction and costing
- Comfortable leading a small team against delivery timelines
- Strong follow-through with process vendors and job workers
