Position
A senior purchasing seat responsible for sourcing fabrics, trims and embellishment materials for JADE collections, negotiating with vendors and keeping production supplied on time.

Job responsibilities
- Source and buy fabrics, trims and embellishment materials against production plans
- Negotiate pricing, credit terms and delivery timelines with vendors
- Build and maintain the vendor database and rate contracts
- Coordinate with merchandising, design and stores on requirements
- Track purchase orders through to receipt and quality check
Profile
- 5-8 years in purchase for fashion, textiles or apparel
- Strong vendor network and negotiation skills
- Comfortable with ERP / purchase tracking
- Based in Mumbai
